Dental Product Specialist

Job Summary:
The Dental Product Specialist promotes and sells dental products and equipment to dental practices and other healthcare providers. They work to drive sales, increase customer retention and improve profitability while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with dental professionals and practices
  • Prospect and qualify potential customers
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to customers
  • Identify and resolve challenges and complaints
  • Continuously stay up to date on product information and industry trends
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent and promote products
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads
  • Meet sales targets and objectives

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dental products and equipment
  • Previous sales experience, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel and attend trade shows and events

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in healthcare or dental industry.

Physical Requirements:
This job may require occasional lifting of heavy equipment and materials, as well as extensive standing and walking during trade shows and demonstrations.
