Project management experience is preferred (but not required) as is the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
The position requires a solid understanding of hydrogeological principles and practices and experience with GIS and subsurface flow models.
As a key member of our team, you will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities including:
Responsibilities:
Ø Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Ø Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
Ø Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
Ø Recognize customer needs and provide insights for improving the product portfolio based on interactions with and feedback from clients.
Ø Work closely with technical staff and client service managers to provide geological and hydrogeologic technical expertise on projects.
Ø Serve as primary client contact with ability to represent all facets of a given project including scope, schedule, and budget.
Ø Work independently, exercising professional judgment to develop and recommend solutions that meet client expectations and goals
Ø Provide technical documentation and presentations
Ø Preparing reports on sites, data collection and quality and answering technical queries. Manage projects and contractors.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Ø BS in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field with specialization in quantitative hydrogeology including groundwater modeling. MS degree preferred.
Ø Experience in sales and technology fields.
Ø Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
Ø Knowledge of different drilling methods, geophysical techniques, and experience implementing hydrogeologic characterization studies including well design and construction, packer testing, aquifer testing and analysis, and water quality sampling techniques.
Ø Experience developing hydrogeological conceptual models and geologic framework models.
Ø Demonstrated expertise with groundwater modelling software.
Ø Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ø Experience in preparing data analysis sections of consulting project reports is required.
Ø Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Ø Must have Qatar driving license.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
