Description
Job Brief:
Responsible for managing all finance aspects in Egypt. Working with business unit managers, advising them of current budgetary information and creating a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.
Your Responsibilities
Managing financial accounting, MIS reporting, internal control and cash flow management.
Manage and ensure that audits are conducted smoothly and statutory filing are done on a timely basis.
Resolve various issues with the auditors by providing information and explanations.
Review customer and vendor contracts and ensure that they comply with the pricing policy, tendering process and are done in the best interests of the company and on best terms.
Working closely with the CEO and rest of the management team and provide them with reports/inputs as may be necessary for managerial decision making.
Setting up accounting and reporting systems, processes and policies.
Ensuring receivables are collected on time and doing credit review of customers.
Preparation of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP.
Preparation of budgets in line with the business requirements and making management presentations.
Assisting management in running financial feasibility for projects/capex investments.
Ensuring Tax compliance in accordance with local legislations and ensuring all statutory returns are filed.
Managing treasury/cash flow functions
- servicing of debt and ensuring compliance with loan covenants
Requirements:
Your Qualifications
Chartered Accountant or Masters degree in Finance and Accounting
Minimum 7 years’ supervisory experience in Finance and Accounting functions
Your Proficiencies
Solid experience with accounting software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
