What are my responsibilities?

  • You will be responsible for the designing, planning and execution of the Operations & Management training scope related to (Depot workshop equipment) frame of Egypt High-speed Rail Project to aggregate training courses by different suppliers / sub-contractors and ensure uniform delivery and thorough monitoring and follow-up on the ground during and after implementation.
  • In this exciting role you will tailor training programs (Course Outline) provided by training providers to match the project specific needs and formats as well as monitoring the quality of delivery and service provided by different training providers.
  • Support the development process of an overall Training Management Plan.
  • Define Training Manuals for different suppliers / sub-contractors along with reviewing the quality of training Manuals and related training materials.
  • Coordinate necessary translation for different training material.
  • Develop progress and completion reports whenever needed.
  • Arrange end of courses/modules certificates.
  • You are expected to evaluate learners’ progress reviews as well as providing them with feedback specified in the assessment plan.
  • You are required to facilitate the end of module assessment of learners and the issuance of relevant completion certificates.
  • Coordinate with different lots / sub-systems within Egypt High-speed Rail Project including Siemens Mobility and its Consortium parties.
  • Liaise with different calibers of learners (i.e., blue-collars and white-collars).
  • Ensure proper handling of information and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Guide the project implementation with proper adherence to schedule, budget, and available resources.
  • You will Develop and regularly update aggregated training implementation plan and schedule.
  • Coordinate the mobilization of local and international trainers.
  • Coordinate different logistics, facilities, transportation, accommodation etc. for both trainers and learners.
  • Provide progress reports, risk and mitigation measures throughout the project.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or education or engineering.
  • Certified diploma in Training / Education preferably.
  • Certified Project Management Certificate
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience (specific 2 - 3 years railway experience is a plus)
  • Ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate complex educational programs.
  • Hands-on experience in carrying out Training Needs Assessment in Egypt.
  • Acquaintance with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) landscape in Egypt.
  • Expert in MS Office Applications
  • Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English. German is a plus.
  • Frequent travel within Egypt required.
