Overall objective and framework conditions of the assignment:
- Identification and preparation of bankable projects in the water and wastewater sector
- The expert will work under the guidance of the team leader and the project managers
- The expert will provide guidance to a team of international and national experts
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: university degree (master’s) in Water Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Geology or Hydrogeology or equivalent
- General Experience: 10 years of professional experience in the Water Supply sector, the Waste Water sector, the water and wastewater management sector, the hydrogeology of water resources of which 7 years on different continents (international context)
- Specific Experience:
- Experience in preparation of investment projects in the water / wastewater sector. Participation as an international expert in at least 3 Feasibility Studies financed by IFI
- Desired: Experience in working with/for Ministry of Public Works and Housing (responsible line ministry in Indonesia)
- Experience in drafting ToR for national and international experts
- Experience in managing and providing technical guidance to teams of national and international experts
(At least one of the below)- 5 years of professional experience in a wastewater specialization e.g. treatment, reuse, recycling.
- 5 years of professional experience in water and wastewater design and modelling
- 5 years of professional experience in O&M issues related to water and wastewater
Regional Experience:
- 3 years of work experience in Southeast Asia (region)
- 2 years of work experience in Indonesia (country)
Amount of Travel Required
- 30%
