- What will you do?_- Understand fully the terms of KONE’s contract with the customer and also the terms of the subcontract with any of KONE’s subcontractors for the respective project.-
- Support the project team in reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence and advising on matters that have contractual and/or financial implications.- Assist in the selection and appointment of subcontractors to ensure appropriate terms and conditions of appointment and in the management of their performance, including negotiation of any loss and/or expense claims while work is in progress.- Assist the project team in maintaining accurate contract files for all correspondence and other related contractual documentation.- Assist in the management and documentation of the snagging and handover process to secure KONE’s liability position.-
- Ensure invoice disputes are resolved with the maximum benefit to the project.
- Are you the one?- Bachelor degree- 5+ years of progressive experience in contracts management within projects/construction environment in Egypt with focus on post award- Excellent Arabic and English language skills- Thorough understanding of contractual issues, legal risks and liabilities- Excellent understanding of Egyptian laws, regulations and construction contracts- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to take initiative and work independently- At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
