Job description:

  • Handle accounting and administrative works of the Company.
  • Maintaining cash transactions and petty cash book.
  • Entry posting of purchase, sales, payments, receipt collection and journal.
  • Preparing invoices, purchase order, sales order and vouchers.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Ensure timely bank payments to vendors and collections from customers.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Make bank reconciliation statements on monthly basis.
  • Prepare income statements, cash flow, statements of change in equity, and balance sheets for management analysis.
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries/disputes.
  • Dealing with customer queries and provide relevant support.
  • Responsible for Month-end closing, MIS reporting and budgeting and compilation of the information required by the management.
  • Able to travel from Bahrain to Al Khobar office at least once in a week for official purpose.

Qualification:

  • BSc in Accounting and Finance, newly qualified ACCA or CPA,

Skills:

  • Reasonable analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of financial statements and financial analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn quickly and take initiative
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of International Accounting Standards, Bahrain Company Law, Bahrain Labour Law and VAT law
  • Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho or QuickBooks is preferred
