Permanent jobs available at our Salmon Farm, growing and harvesting our Gold Award-winning King Salmon, in the pristine waters of our Salmon Farm in Big Glory Bay - Rakiura / Stewart Island.

About the role:
Are you interested in a full-time role working on Stewart Island - Rakiura the land of glowing skies' Our Big Glory Bay Salmon Farm is located in one of New Zealands national parks with the natural beauty of the sea, bush and wildlife - one of the worlds most remote aquaculture farms.

We have vacancies for Shift Workers at our Salmon Farm. Our Shift Workers reside on our salmon barge while on shift - working a roster of 80 hours, 7 days on / 7 days off. Travel is provided to and from Bluff on the mainland.

For Shift Workers that reside permanently on Stewart Island, a roster is available working 80 hours, 8 days on / 6 days off.

These opportunities involve working within the shift team, monitoring and feeding salmon, grading, moving salmon between pens, net cleaning and general maintenance around the salmon farm.
