About the team:
You’ll be joining the Key Attendee Success team, who are responsible for ensuring our investors, media attendees and speakers have the best experience at our events. You’ll be working closely with the speakers, media and investors acquisition teams, which are responsible for acquiring key attendees for our events. You will be the point of contact for our speakers, and will ensure a seamless experience during and after Web Summit, Web Summit Rio, Web Summit Qatar, Collision, and any other events going forward. Past speakers include Brad Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eric Yuan and Ursula von der Leyen - and that’s just a few.

What you’ll achieve at Web Summit:

  • You’ll act as an internal point of contact for speakers at our events.
  • You’ll improve processes and workflows that result in an excellent event experience for our attendees.
  • You will manage all logistics and scheduling for speakers attending our events.
  • You’ll manage and fulfil any speaker-related activities at our events.
  • You’ll liaise with other teams and ensure clear communication channels exist.
  • You’ll foster relationships with some of the most highly regarded organisations.

Who you are:

  • You deal with confidential matters in a professional manner, while respecting and upholding professional integrity at all times.
  • You're a quick learner and can grasp the intricacies of complex relationships easily.
  • You’re a natural people-person and have keen attention to detail.
  • You’re exceptionally organised, with strong administrative skills.

  • You’re a natural collaborator who excels as part of a team working towards stellar customer experiences.

Skills and abilities we’d like to see:

  • Ideally 4+ years of experience in a relationship/account management or customer service role.
  • Experience in dealing with public figures, government bodies, or other VIP individuals in an executive assistance capacity or similar.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Experience in the events industry in any capacity (ideally).
  • Excellent customer service skills and an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional planning, scheduling and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated multitasker with the ability to work on your own initiative to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and take up new tasks proactively.
  • Knowledge of the tech industry in any capacity is preferential.
