Freelance Contributing Editor

We are searching for a contributing editor to become a part of our team and assist the Marketing Director in Jakarta. Your role will involve identifying and producing local content related to executive-level education, as well as promoting it effectively.
As an Editor, you will play a crucial role in generating regular communication, managing/launching media partnerships, and increasing our presence on mass media platforms. This part-time position requires approximately 2 days per week on an ongoing basis.

Scope of the role:

• Identify and explore trending topics in the area of management education, sustainability, and leadership development.
• Write engaging content reflecting the company's stance on these topics.
• Collaborate with local journalists and media outlets to publish and amplify our content.
• Conduct translations of existing content from English to Indonesian, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy.
• Manage newsletters, social media posts, and media outreach activities.

Requirements:

• Previous journalism experience, particularly with local media outlets focusing on management education, sustainability, and leadership development.
• Native Indonesian proficiency to produce high-quality articles and social media posts.
• Fluent English skills, with the ability to translate English content to Indonesian effectively.
• Based in Jakarta, with the flexibility to work remotely and occasional in-person meetings with the team and local journalists.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: Rp400,000 - Rp525,000 per hour
