Junior HR Specialist.

Our team of HR Specialists is in charge of the smooth execution of all processes along the employee life cycle with an eye to accuracy and with a personal touch. We are offering you the chance to build your HR foundation and get to know all relevant HR processes in an international environment. At the same time we are learning together as a team while we transition to our new and modern HR service model. This role is based in Hamburg, Germany.

  • Ensure all lifecycle events for our employees are flawlessly executed and seamlessly delivered, providing consistency in the experience across teams
  • Prepare and process a variety of employee life cycle related paperwork, i.e. contracts, side letters, certificates, etc.
  • Respond to general requests and inquiries from employees regarding benefits, payroll, pension, etc.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and leaving employees
  • Support the monthly payroll process by raising change requests and providing necessary checks to ensure an accurate payroll run
  • Process and maintain organization and employee updates in our HRIS systems and ensure data quality and integrity
  • Work with HR Business Partners to support managers on HR issues including promotions, development plans, international transfers, etc.
  • Generate a variety of reports as requested by HR, Finance, and other business leaders
  • Prepare Works Council hearings and answer related questions
  • This is you
  • Previous experience in an HR support role (1-2 years) or hands on experience as an HR intern or working student
  • Be self-driven, energetic, and have a ‘can-do’ mindset
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple ongoing topics
  • Proficiency in Google for Work or Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP or Workday is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in* German and English (C1 level for German is the minimum requirement)*
