Swim Coach

1. Swim instructor for the ACS curricular swim classes (children 3 - 16)

• Collaborating with relevant staff for matters such as (but not exclusive to); programming, scheduling, assessment and reporting of learning and teaching, curriculum development and assessment tools for reporting purposes.
• Advising and collaborating with the PE Department members on matters of “best practice” and effective differentiation and assessment of and for curricular programmes.
• Collaborate in the assessment of student progress.
• Lead curricular swimming classes as per grade objectives

2. Swim coach: ACS Doha Competitive Squads

• In collaboration with relevant PE department members, develop and improve necessary technical and physical components in ACS squad swimmers.
• With the disposable resources available and in collaboration with relevant department members, aid the preparation of students to enter competition.
• Advise in the delivery of structured after school squad programmes.
• Attend (as required) key competitive events throughout the year which are identified as desirable.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
