Accountant

Our client is one of the fastest growing companies that specialize in the manufacturing of Ready-Mixed Concrete (RMC) in construction industry. Currently, they are seeking for Accountant to support their finance operation.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Responsible for monthly closing activities for accounts including preparing, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of journal entries and timely preparation of the financial reports;
• Review and handle GST submission;
• Liaise with external auditor for statutory audit;
• Prepare audit schedules
• Provide information to tax agent for tax filling of annual returns and tax enquiries;
• Insertion of financial numbers onto format audited financial statements given by auditors;
• Daily operational accounting and finance activities;
• Ensure intercompany balances are agreed with the relevant entity;
• Mentoring, and supervising subordinates;
• Ensure processes/controls in place for internal audit;
• Responsible for managing the company’s HR & Admin functions including payroll for drivers & workers
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Team player with good communication skills
