Commercial Diver (Adci or Imca)

a hasthe Ecocoast, a global leader in engineered products for the protection of coastlines, waterways, and floating structures, is looking for a professional certified Commercial Diver (ADCI or IMCA) to work below the surface of the water using diving gear to inspect, repair, remove, or install equipment and structures.

What you will be doing?

• Check and maintain diving equipment, such as helmets, masks, air tanks, harnesses, or gauges.
• Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.
• Maintain work equipment or machinery.
• Inspect the condition of underwater steel, wood, and other structures.
• Inspect systems to determine if they are operating properly.
• Inspect and test docks, ships, buoyage systems, plant intakes or outflows, or underwater pipelines, cables, or sewers, using closed circuit television, still photography, and testing equipment.
• Perform activities related to underwater search and rescue, salvage, recovery, or cleanup operations.
• Install pilings or footings for piers and bridges.
• Install, inspect, clean, and repair piping and valves or other products.
• Descend into water with the aid of diver helpers, using scuba gear or diving suits.
• Cut and weld steel, using underwater welding equipment, jigs, and supports.
• Repair ships, bridge foundations, and other structures below the water line, using caulk, bolts, and hand tools.
• Take appropriate safety precautions, such as monitoring dive lengths and depths, and registering with authorities before diving expeditions begin.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness.
• Ensure that the deepest depth attained during their dive has been established before their ascent.
• Safely transition from the water to the decompression chamber without avoidable delay.
• Be fully conversant and practiced in emergency procedures applicable to the assigned location/in the UAE.

What are we looking for?

• Holder of a valid Commercial Diving Certification (ADCI or IMCA).
• At least 4-6 year experience as commercial diver across various projects.
• Mush have a current BOSIET or equivalent certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
