Would you like to contribute to one of Scotland’s smallest, most ambitious craft distilleries? Started in late 2017, GlenWyvis is the world’s first 100% community-owned, sustainable distillery, currently producing single malt whisky and gin in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

Our small team is looking for a motivated individual to assist our current operator in the distillery, hand-crafting small batches of whisky and gin every day and helping with the routine operation of a busy production facility.

Full-time, day shift position 40hrs/wk based in Dingwall, with the potential for back shift work as production requires. Starting salary of £24,000+ DOE with semi-annual performance-based bonus.

What we require

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily mashing and distillation of GlenWyvis Single Malt whisky
  • General upkeep and housekeeping of production area and warehouse
  • Cask filling and assisting in warehousing operations.
  • Small volume bottling of whisky and gin on-site
  • Manual handling of empty and full casks
  • Lifting and stacking of dry goods, palletising for shipping and receiving deliveries
  • Record-keeping in line with HMRC requirements
  • Based full-time at our distillery in Dingwall, Scotland. Proximity and ability to travel to and from location year-round are essential.
  • Telehandler operation (card preferred)
  • Solo working may be required in rare instances.
  • Valid Passport & Right to work in UK
  • UK Driving License
  • Qualifications pertaining to production or manufacturing environments are greatly appreciated - NEBOSH, HAACP, etc.
  • A palate for whisky and ability to contribute to blending/tasting panels.
  • Comfortable assisting in public facing roles at events and tradeshows.
  • Personal license will be required, training provided.

Salary: £24,000.00 per year
