Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the equipment within the facility to ensure the safe and efficient production of water.
- Monitor control panels and adjust valves and pumps to regulate the flow of water
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Record production data and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in relevant fields is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in the water treatment industry
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining equipment commonly used in water treatment facilities
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work in varying shifts and overtime as needed.
