Capital Ford Lincoln Collision Center has a permanent full-time position open for an Auto Body Shop Assistant!

As the Auto Body Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks around the shop to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working in a hands-on role, this position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our auto body shop.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the auto body shop by performing regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces
  • Empty garbage cans and dispose of waste materials in accordance with proper disposal guidelines
  • Assist with organizing tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are easily accessible and in good working condition
  • Help prepare and organize parts for technicians, ensuring they are readily available for repairs and replacements
  • Support technicians and other staff members with miscellaneous tasks as needed
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying the appropriate personnel when replenishment is required
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
