- Job Purpose:
Control and coach engineers and technicians in the body repair workshop to ensure the maximum performance and productivity and advise them on the major damages
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Control and supervise the work of the Body Repair Engineers in the workshop
- Organize weekly schedules, assign tasks and supervise the Body Repair Engineers accordingly (body alignment, straightening, filling, preparation for paint and other related repairs on the vehicles)
- Coach body repair technicians to review and verify conformance and progress to established policies, requirements and reports
- Supervise engineers and technicians and ensure safe practices quality control
- Supervise and control effective communication and support strategies to ensure that customer requirements are met and understood
- Review performance appraisal (PMS) for subordinates
- Maintain good relationships with insurance companies and settle claims quickly and fairly
- Ensure achievement of budget sales and cost targets
- Monitor KPIs of subordinates
- Undertake any additional tasks as required
Job Skills and Abilities:
- Very good communication skills are a must
- Very good computer skills
- Supervisory and Leadership Skills
- Excellent in English language
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10-15 years of experience
- Strong technical background,
- A Diploma in Engineering will be an asset
