Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of geospatial data using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and tools
- Collaborate with the Geospatial team to create and maintain accurate and up-to-date spatial databases
- Contribute to the creation of maps, charts, and visualizations using geospatial data to support decision-making processes
- Assist in conducting spatial analyses to answer specific research questions or solve spatial problems
- Support the development and maintenance of geospatial data standards and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of geospatial reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Diploma in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Sciences or a related field
- Strong understanding of GIS principles and concepts
- Proficiency in using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial tools
- Familiarity with spatial data formats (shapefiles, geodatabases, etc.) and coordinate systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data manipulation and analysis
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach spatial challenges logically
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Salary: From RM2,500.00 per month
