AlUla Club is seeking a Football Data Analyst to join our team. As a Football Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing football matches, extracting insights and providing reports to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze football match data
- Work with the coaching staff to provide data insights to support decision making
- Collaborate with the scouting team to identify potential recruitment targets
- Produce reports on player and team performance
- Develop customized analytical models to provide insights into player performance
- Research and analyze statistical data to provide insights into opposing teams’ strategies
- Create and maintain comprehensive databases of performance and other relevant data
Requirements:
- A degree in sports science, statistics or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a football data analyst
- Excellent statistical analysis skills
- Strong knowledge of football and football statistics
- High proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to non-specialist audiences
- Familiarity with football analysis software such as Wyscout and InStat
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
