Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine to drive the transformation to ONE adidas. It is the company's operational backbone, through delivering standard global services, focusing on enhancing customer user experience, and providing consistent skills and quality.- Act as SPOC within the same time zone. Responsible to support improvement initiatives, quality controls and respective implementation in area of responsibility. Support KPIs for respective area. Be the main contact for area GPO team, GBS Porto Delivery Excellence and GBS Global Hub.- Key Responsibilities:
  • support process improvement, standardization and operational excellence with regional scope for Hub operations function
  • support implementation / deployment of projects and initiatives in a compliant manner (e.g. CFIN, T4M, )
  • supports the testing and the bridge between processes and systems (e.g. CFIN, T4M, )
  • support FIT/GAP analysis on relevant E2Es that touch their area of expertise for the markets in scope of GBS, proposing process changes and /or system updates with the purpose of defining a standard and aligned process, facilitating S4 adoption and performance
  • support troubleshooting processes’ defects in partinership with GPOs and Global HubMonitor KPI / OKRs and act when needed
  • provide direct support to Manager and markets in process topics
  • act as liaison between DE, GPO, Global Hub and others* to implement process improvements / changes
  • support Internal Controls’ implementation and monitoring
  • support to KPI monotoring
  • actively participate in Gemba walks and support to improvement opportunities identification
  • revision of DTPs for area of responsibility (whenever applicable)
  • support audit requests with BPO and GPO
  • provide expertise and make suggestions to improve the quality of trainings or upskilling sessions to BPO and/or Global Hub.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Solid experience with SAP and specific area’s tools (e.g. OmniHub)
  • E2E process knowledge and respective interactions with other teams
  • Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
  • Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation; can navigate easily within complex organizations, connect with a variety functions, audiences, management styles, or cultures.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly results driven and self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust and perseverance.
  • Availability to travel for periods of 3 to 4 weeks
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling or similar.
  • 2 plus years relevant work experience in the accounting / business area
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function
