Requirements:
Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related degree
- CPA preferred
- At least 3 years of experience is preferred
- Prior public accounting experience is preferred
- Prior income tax preparation, including partnerships, corporations, and individuals is preferred
- Reviewer
- Level experience is preferred
- Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in a technology environment
- Excellent supervisory and leadership capabilities
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to take initiative
- Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide quality client service
- Utilize analytical and research abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strict adherence to professional ethics
- Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare/Review income tax returns for our clients.
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of various software programs required.
- The ability to commit to a set schedule/hours per week is highly desired (overtime likely). Day, evening, and weekend hours are available.
All hired individuals will receive training on how to prepare/review returns in our tax software/systems.
