We are now looking for a QC Lab Assistant. This position will be located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

What you’ll do

• You will conduct Quality testing and inspection for all jumbo out from coating machines (CM1, CM2 and CM3) according to quality plan in Raflow QMS
• You will follow global lab test method SOPs/Local testing procedure for quality measurement
• You will support quality inspection and monitoring when required at Finishing and Cleaning
• You will perform containment plan and conduct non-conforming product hold process according to procedure
• You will follow up hold stock and disposition after cleaning process
• You will make escalation to Quality, Coating leader and supervisor if found any quality abnormalities detected for further action
• You will follow and comply ISO & Safety requirements
• You will achieve Factory quality related KPIs and target set (e.g., Total Quality)
• You will prepare A4 samples from all jumbo produced as retained sample reference
• You will participate in continuous improvement activities (i.e., Idea generation, gemba walk, One safety and other related KPIs (if any)
• You will ensure all quality lab facilities and equipment are well maintained and fit to use (calibrated according to schedule). To escalate for any damages and/or unfit to use to Quality supervisor
• You will conduct long term measurement testing according to Quality Testing Plan
• You will support in testing for customer complaint samples and customer inquiries
• You will ensure closure of PQA > QDA in daily basic. Escalate to Quality Supervisor for any abnormality found for further action
• You will take escalation of raw material quality issues to Raw Material claim QA in charge and perform hold as containment plan
• You will work closely with Quality Supervisor, Quality claim handling person-in-charge and Quality Engineer pertaining to customer feedback and product requirements quality control

Who you are?

• You have min 1 year quality related working experience
• You have good understanding on required lab test methods
• You have possessed initiative, committed and with good communication skills
• You can work independently and according to shift pattern and work during weekends Basic Quality control knowledge and Production processes.
• You have basic testing and measurement skills and knowledge
• You have basic computer skill (eg. mailing and words/excel)
• You have good communication skill
