What you'll do:
As a Procurement Manager of Content Business Intelligence, you will be working as part of a central content procurement team, reporting to a Principal Global Category Manager.

Your two primary responsibilities will be firstly, the responsibility for data, business intelligence, and automation from A to Z across content procurement and secondly, to carry out negotiations with content providers, actively and as part of the team.
As part of the team, you will co-manage Vodafone’s content acquisition globally. Working with the Luxembourg team and with Vodafone’s business stakeholders you will identify commercially relevant data requirements and data sources both internally and externally. One focus of the role will be to improve and expand internal business intelligence capabilities that will help the team deliver better commercial outcomes in their deals. This will involve the evaluation of specific commercial deals as well as value assessment and benchmarking in relation to existing agreements with the aim of providing data-based strategies to optimize negotiations.

As part of your role, you will also help identify areas of opportunity for digitization and automation across the end-to-end content management value chain in Vodafone and work on realizing those opportunities. This will be performed in close collaboration with our SCM Analytics Team, and local content, and SCM teams, working as a large cross-functional virtual team led by the VPC.

Who you are:

  • Passion for data, analytics, business intelligence, and digital tools,
  • Strong reasoning skills to draw insights from a large volume of diverse and ambiguous data,
  • Strong financial acumen, generally good with numbers and at financial reporting and modeling,
  • Good understanding of sourcing and procurement disciplines, including processes and tools,
  • Content acquisition/sourcing experience in either Linear TV, Video-on-Demand, or Over-the-Top (acquisition/sales/finance/analytics), preferably on a regional or global level,
  • Strong commercial mindset and proven track record of successfully negotiating acquisition deals with clearly identified benefits,
  • A solid knowledge of the dynamics, the players, and the market forces operating in the content space in Europe,
  • Measurable contributions to large-scale, multi-country, and multi-disciplinary projects or virtual teams,
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering business intelligence initiatives in complex corporate environments with clearly identified benefits,
  • Ability to communicate and present with impact both verbally and in writing - English is a must, other languages are an advantage,
  • University or college degree (Master’s/MBA preferred).
