JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Responsible & accountable for triaging and escalating production issue causing outages.
- Adhere to processes, company policies, required to deliver high quality services to clients & partners.
Qualifications and Technical Requirements:
- 5-7 years of profession experience with at least 3 years in Production Support, DevOps, or Site Reliability
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in related technical field.
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Python, shell scripting
- Advanced skills in monitoring & administering Linux systems. Exposure to Windows based system would be nice to have.
- Database server monitoring & administering skills, including intermediate-level understanding of SQL.
- Understand source control techniques and/or familiar with Git / BitBucket
- Proficient in technology toolkits as ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch, Datadog, Geneos and job scheduling tools like Autosys and Control-M.
