Job Opportunity: Part-Time Food Safety, Quality Control, and Portioning Officer at a Nutrition Company

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, portioning, and presentation? We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Food Safety, Quality Control, and Portioning Officer at our dynamic nutrition company. This is a night shift position, allowing you to contribute to our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our food services.

Shift Timing: 10:00 PM onwards (4 hours/night)

Working Days: 6 days a week (Thursday off)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Perform thorough checks on incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor and document temperature and storage conditions.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement and enforce quality control measures.
• Ensure accurate food portioning and adherence to portion control standards.
• Oversee the presentation of food items to meet our quality and aesthetic standards.
• Monitor packaging processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Identify and address potential food safety hazards.
• Keep detailed records of inspections and findings.
• Communicate effectively with team members to uphold a culture of food safety and quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food safety, quality control, and portioning is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Mandatory: Food Handler's Certificate. If not already obtained, it can be completed during the hiring process.
