Islamic Studies (Igcse) Teacher

Al-Hamra Integrated School is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Islamic Studies Teacher to join our faculty. As an Islamic Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students on Islamic principles, teachings, and practices. You will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to deepen their understanding of Islam and develop their moral and ethical values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective Islamic Studies curriculum in alignment with the school's educational objectives.
  • Teach and explain Islamic principles, beliefs, and practices to students of varying age groups.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods and materials to facilitate student learning, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources.
  • Evaluate and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their progress.
  • Monitor student behavior and maintain classroom discipline, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Stay updated with current research, trends, and developments in Islamic education to enhance teaching methods and content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, or a related field. A higher degree or specialized certification in Islamic Studies is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Islamic principles, beliefs, and practices.
  • Experience in teaching Islamic Studies to students of varying age groups, preferably in an academic setting.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administrators.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in Islamic education.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Contract length: 24 months

Salary: RM2,400.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
