Job Title: Timber Procurement Manager

Job Description:
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research and analysis of the Timber market in Latin America, specifically focusing on Panama, to identify potential suppliers and sellers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sellers, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their requirements.
Negotiate with suppliers and sellers to secure competitive prices, favorable terms, and high-quality Timber logs.
Monitor market trends, including price fluctuations and supply-demand dynamics, to guide procurement decisions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the procurement team and project managers, to align procurement strategies with project timelines and requirements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and environmental regulations related to Timber procurement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier information.
Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to streamline operations and achieve cost savings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Timber procurement, specifically from Latin America, with a focus on Panama.
Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable deals.
In-depth knowledge of Timber grades, quality standards, and market dynamics.
Familiarity with legal and environmental regulations related to Timber procurement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and sellers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Salary: From B/.3,000.00 per month
