Job description
- The Speech Therapist will work with children on the Autism Spectrum, who have limited or emerging language, under the supervision of a behavior specialist.:
- The SLP will be responsible for speech and language therapy as well as augmentative communication and should have some familiarity with picture exchange communication systems (pecs) and sign language.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assesses the students' communication skills (e.g. articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.) for the purpose of identifying communication challenges and developing appropriate program plans:
Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEP) based on the child's needs along with the lead teacher.:
Maintains files and records (e.g. progress reports, activity logs, treatment plans, and quarterly reports on the progress of the student.):
Maintain a team based approach with the entire school programme:
Providing counseling and support to the parents.:
Guide and train other staff members in speech therapy planning:
Create and modify resources and manuals
Salary: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
