Here at AJ Charlton & Sons Ltd we have a number of departments including a retail Timberstore that sells a wide range of fencing, landscaping materials, gates and sheds. Due to high demand the Timberstore Sales Team have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Sales Advisor to join our long-established family run business near Frome in Somerset.
As part of this team you will be responsible for a range of customer service related tasks, within a fast-paced sales office environment, that include:
- Serving customers at our sales counter
- Serving customers over the phone
- Calculating customer quotations for a variety of product ranges including fencing, decking, flooring, cladding etc.
- Carrying out a variety of administrative duties
- Working efficiently within a small team
The position is offered on a full-time or part-time basis, you will also be required to work two Saturdays per month & 3 out of 5 Bank Holidays (excluding Christmas as we close for the holiday period)
- Great customer service skills (both on the phone and face-to-face)
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- The ability to communicate and work well under pressure
- The ability to prioritise a demanding workload
The Timberstore is known for delivering exceptional customer service through our extensive product knowledge, for this reason you should expect the training period to be at least 6 weeks.
Benefits include: Competitive yearly salary of £26,676.00 based on full time position of 45 hours per week, increasing to £29,022.00 from April. Company pension scheme, paid holidays and bank holidays, full on-the-job training and flexible working hours.
