Warehouse Unit Team Leader

Salary: £26-27k DOE

Our client, MSX is the leading UK specialist in bonded warehousing and bespoke services for the travel retail industry including brand owners, airports, airlines, cruise ships and ferry operators in the UK, Europe and beyond.
They are now looking for a committed and hardworking Warehouse Unit Team Leader to join their friendly and successful team.
Warehouse Unit Team Leader, the role:
- Adhering to thorough checking processes to ensure orders have been accurately picked and correctly palletised to customer specification ready for dispatch/loading
- Supervising vehicles being loaded and unloaded and transporting goods via Forklift
- Overseeing paperwork and goods received from suppliers
- Managing the yards with tidiness and space in mind
- Looking after weekend Cruise ship dispatches - effectively running a working shift
- Supporting Day Shift Team Leader and Supervisor (H&S and good housekeeping standards within the warehouse; reporting of any maintenance requirements to the Warehouse Manager and covering their absence)
- Taking initiative to rectify problems relating to the performance of the warehouse
- Other ad-hoc duties as and if necessary
Warehouse Unit Team Leader, the person:
- Previous Warehouse experience at a similar level is essential
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Enjoy helping other team members, providing guidance and advise
- Creative thinker - full of energy and self-motivation
- Responsible Key holder
- Team player with a positive, “can do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Warehouse Unit Team Leader, the benefits:

This is a full time, permanent role with working hours of 40 hours per week; 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday. Due to the secure nature of the environment you will be working in, a criminal records check will be carried out.
