Due to becoming an approved partner with Essex Council for Alternative Provisions and ongoing referrals, we are expanding our team to add 5 tutors for 1:1 home tutoring in Epping Forest and Redbridge. You should ideally be living around Redbridge and be available for 1:1 tutoring lessons during the daytime, evenings and/or weekends, with a previous SEN background of working in schools in UK as a PGCE/QTS Teacher or a TA.
The role:
- F2F In-Person Tutor - 1:1 lessons
- with SEN students including Autism and ADHD.
- Maths, English, Science
- upto GCSE Level.
- Travelling to the student at home/school/libary in Epping Forest or Redbridge.
- 1 hour per week to 10 hours per week per student
- Lessons: weekday daytime 8.30am-3.30pm, evenings 4-8pm and/or weekends (your choice).
- Assessing students knowledge regularly.
- Being a mentor to students.
- Flexibility to take on as many students as you like, dependent on your experience and availability.
Requirements:
- PGCE/QTS Qualified Teacher: Essential
- SEN experience: Essential
- Worked with young persons in a UK school setting: Essential
- communication skills - written and spoken
- Living in Epping Forest, Redbridge or Waltham Forest
- DBS check required (we can help if you don't have one)

**Please note this role is for 1to1 in-home tutoring. You must be living in East London and have worked at a school in UK to apply.
Job Types: Temporary, Part-time, Contract
Salary: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
