About the role:
It's an exciting time to join AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers, and streamline and automate our business processes.
Working in the Strategy, Portfolio & Transformation Team, you'll play a key role across AXA Commercial to build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement. You'll work with leaders, team leads and front-line staff across the business to drive process efficiency improvements and deliver improved customer and broker experiences.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as part-time or condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with the risk, customer and front-line teams, utilising customer journey maps to identify improvements to customer and broker experiences
- Partner with stakeholders to create, deliver and maintain process improvement plans, ensuring consistency across teams
- Leverage and contribute towards the development of a benefits capture tool to document value creation from OpEx activities
- Work with operational teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement and solving together, empowering individuals to improve their own processes within an agreed framework of change
- Coach and mentor teams and individuals to upskill the organisation in ways of working within operational excellence, driving best practise across the business
- Assist the business to prioritise and deliver improvement activity which supports the overall strategic direction
About you:
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of working in Op Ex / continuous improvement role within a large matrix organisation
- Experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, preferably with a Green Belt qualification or Lean equivalent
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and manage conflicting objectives
- Strong analytical thinker able to constructively challenge current ways of working
- Highly numerate and comfortable discussing financial and non-financial benefits with finance and other business leaders
- Ability to identify, acquire, and manage the resources to achieve agreed outcomes
- Ability to identify, track, and enable the achievement of the planned benefits and intended outcomes of a program and associated projects
