Job Overview:
As a Neurologist, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders affecting the nervous system. This includes diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Assessment:

  • Conduct thorough neurological assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.

  • Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, headaches, and neuromuscular disorders.

  • Treatment Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis and individual patient needs.

  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions to manage and alleviate neurological symptoms.

  • Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Perform or interpret specialized diagnostic procedures, including electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging studies (CT, MRI).

  • Consultation and Collaboration:

  • Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists.

  • Provide expertise in multidisciplinary team discussions and treatment planning.

  • Patient Education:

  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and potential outcomes.

  • Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and long-term management strategies.

  • Research and Continuing Education:

  • Engage in scholarly activities, research, and staying abreast of advancements in the field of neurology.

  • Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to maintain and enhance medical knowledge.

  • Emergency Response:

  • Be prepared to respond to neurological emergencies, such as acute strokes or seizures, providing timely and effective interventions.

  • Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Neurology.
  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Valid and current medical license in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience: 2+YEARS

  • Substantial clinical experience in Neurology.
  • Research or academic experience may be desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From ₹450,000.00 per month
