Your Role and Responsibilities
What you'll do:
As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with the engineering team to build ,design and develop the CD/CI delivery mechanism both cloud and on-prem.
You will be responsible for improving the productivity in workspace by looking out for automation opportunities for repeated tasks.
You will be responsible to manage the on-prem and cloud infrastructure of test/prod systems.
You will help deliver and deploy cloud native micro services to hybrid cloud environments.
You will work in an agile environment and will actively contribute to all phases of software development.
You will work with customers to help them succeed in their AI journey by adopting AI Governance solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in authoring Docker driven packaging scripts for micro-services
- Experience in developing deployment scripts for Kubernetes based micro-services
- Experience in authoring build scripts with Jenkins or Travis or Tekton.
- Experience with problem determination, root cause analysis and debugging complex distributed systems
- Experience in building and maintaining automated CI/CD systems
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Working knowledge of Redhat OpenShift Kubernetes platform.
- Working knowledge of Ansible based install/deployment automation.
- Programming skills using languages such as Java/Python
- Familiarity with LogDNA/Sysdig/Prometheus for cluster analysis in a Kubernetes environment
