Your Job Purpose:
As an I&C Commissioning Technician working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semi -Conductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Kildare

Your Job Description:

  • Responsible for both decommissioning and commissioning of facilities instrumentation and associated controls on both utility and process systems.
  • These systems include, but are not limited to, AHU’s, Chillers, Boilers, Scrubbed Exhausts, Water Treatment, and Industrial Waste Systems.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support both decommissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Generation and execution of documentation to support decommissioning activities on live systems in line with site procedures.
  • Generation and execution of commissioning documentation such as OAT’s & FAT’s (Operational & Functional Acceptance Tests).
  • Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures.
  • Work with operations and engineering teams to develop testing protocols and start-up procedures.
  • Demonstrate ownership and show initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner in a high paced, schedule driven environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Industrial Automation and Controls or Applied Physics and Instrumentation or qualified trade in Instrumentation or Relevant qualification.
  • Ideally at least 2 years industry experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for a wide variety of instrumentation and PLC systems.
  • A working knowledge of HART communication and instrument configuration methods is an advantage, but not a strict requirement as training will be provided.
  • Possess excellent communication/documentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and accountability.
