Your Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure in AWS.
- Be familiar with various AWS services and principals.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Groovy, and Ansible.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software development process.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the availability and performance of production systems.
- Manage different Opensource Middleware.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
- Continuously monitoring the performance of data pipelines and ETL process Analyse results and take both proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent issues.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer or a related role which includes:
- Strong proficiency in AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.
- Expertise in scripting and automation using Python and Groovy.
- Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems.
- Solid understanding of Big data technologies & ETL process.
- Expertise in AWS ETL process as EMR and glue.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- AWS certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field are a plus.
