Your Role and Responsibilities
As an intern in IBM Knowledge Catalog UI team, you will experience entire software development cycle and work alongside more experienced colleagues on developing code for new functionalities of a modern software product used by the world's biggest companies.
- You will need to pick up technical and domain knowledge in the areas of data governance and data quality, and use it to deliver exceptional user experience with quality and attention to detail.
- You will collaborate with other frontend developers, UX designers and QA engineers on creating new features and investigating the behavior of existing functions.
- You will learn a lot and enjoy the ride.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Working knowledge of Javascript and React.js (incl. redux, router, webpack)
- Experience in frontend development (commercial or university)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Understanding of microservices architecture, cloud environment concepts
- Experience with Jenkins and SonarQube
