Indulge your sweet tooth and advance your career as a Jr. Sous Chef (Pastry) at our upscale hotel. Work alongside our talented team of chefs to craft delectable dessert creations that leave a lasting impression on our guests.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Assist in the preparation and production of all pastry items for the hotel's dining outlets, banquets, and special events.
- Work alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to develop new menu items and pastry recipes.
- Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented according to established standards.
- Supervise and train pastry cooks and other kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen area.
What do we need from you?
- Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or Jr. Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
