Load Balancing Technologies Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Load Balancing Technologies Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in designing and optimizing our infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Design Load Balancing Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of load balancing solutions that meet performance, scalability, and high availability requirements.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated provisioning and configuration.- Leverage your expertise in NGINX and HAProxy to optimize configurations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient traffic distribution.- Performance Optimization:Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize load balancing configurations to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices in load balancing configurations, including SSL/TLS encryption, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of load balancing configurations, best practices, and standards. Share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of learning and innovation.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Load Balancing Technologies Architect or similar role.
• Strong expertise in NGINX and HAProxy load balancers.
• Experience with F5 load balancers is a plus.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Must fulfil the requirements to obtain an EU security clearance.
