TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Material Repairs department is responsible for the management of aircraft components sent out to external vendors for repair & modifications. You will be in contact with various in-house departments and worldwide suppliers to:

  • Ensure that the vendors receive proper instructions to carry out the repair and modification of components as per and regulatory requirements.
  • Review all details of component to be repaired prior to raising repair orders.
  • Raise and process repair orders and follow-up on existing orders.
  • Maintain and update parts, pricing, and vendors information in the database to ensure immediate and accurate access to information.
  • Coordinate material and equipment requirements with respective departments.
  • Negotiate and coordinate price quotations with vendors.
  • Maintain, update, and archive repair files.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur) and/or accomplished apprenticeship in supply chain management, logistics or similar; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be considered as an advantage.
  • Preferably, a first experience in material management, supply chain management or any other related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Any additional language will be an advantage.
  • Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously.
  • Sound analytical skills and detail-oriented approach.
  • Methodical and organized.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Full-time, permanent position based in Luxembourg.
  • Flexible with working hours in accordance with our collective work agreement.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
