This position is based in Cairo, Egypt and will report directly to the Business Unit Head (CHC). You will be responsible for managing and driving the success of consumer healthcare products within Acino’s portfolio. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to maximize Acino’s product sales, market share, and profitability in the consumer healthcare market. This role requires a combination of brand/product management, marketing, and business development skills, along with a deep understanding of the consumer healthcare industry.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Product Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for Acino’s consumer healthcare products, including market positioning, target customer segments, pricing, and distribution strategies. Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Product Development and Launch: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing, to develop new consumer healthcare products or enhance existing ones. Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful market introductions.
- Marketing and Brand Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Acino’s consumer healthcare products, including advertising, promotions, digital marketing, and point-of-sale materials. Define brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions to differentiate Acino’s products in the market.
- Sales and Distribution Support: Work closely with sales teams to provide them with the necessary product knowledge, marketing materials, and tools to effectively promote and sell Acino’s consumer healthcare products. Collaborate with distribution partners and key retailers to ensure optimal product placement and availability.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and consumer insights related to consumer healthcare products. Conduct regular market analysis and competitor assessments to identify opportunities and risks. Use market data to drive decision-making and recommend strategies for growth.
- Product Performance Analysis: Track and analyze consumer healthcare product sales performance, market share, and profitability. Develop and deliver regular reports on Acino’s product performance to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure consumer healthcare products comply with relevant regulatory requirements, labeling guidelines, and advertising regulations. Work closely with regulatory affairs and legal teams to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and supply chain, to ensure seamless product launches, effective product lifecycle management, and alignment of strategies.
Your profile:
- Strong understanding of the consumer healthcare market, including regulations, consumer behavior, and distribution channels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product strategies, from concept to market launch.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data, consumer insights, and financial information to drive decision-making.
- Strong project management skills.
- 3 to 5 Proven years of experience in product management, brand management, or marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on consumer healthcare products.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (advanced degree preferred).
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
