Transcat Ireland is searching for:
A 6-month contract, Graduate Engineer based in Cork to support our developing calibration services. On successful completion of the initial contract there is a potential full-time role.

Responsibilities:
About the job:

  • Work within an automated calibration laboratory.
  • Work with software programs like e-Folio and Indysoft to manage customer assets throughout our inventory control systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Quality Management System and all related documents are relevant and being used and are understood by all staff.
  • Demonstrates alignment with all Transcat Ireland / NEXA Core Values.
  • Understand the importance of safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:
We are looking for people with:

  • Associates, bachelor’s degree, or trade certification (e.g., ASQ CCT) in a related Engineering field.
  • In the absence of the above, proven work history in a Life Science Calibration/ Engineering role will also be considered.
  • Not a requirement for this Graduate role but preferable to have 1-2 years of experience in Life Science Calibration/ Engineering Role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
