  • Statutory Compliance and Filings: Assist in preparing and filing statutory documents with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), including annual returns, changes in company particulars, and other required filings to ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2016.
  • Meeting Preparation and Documentation: Support the organization and preparation of Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings. This includes assisting with drafting agendas, minutes, resolutions, and circulation of meeting papers.
  • Corporate Records Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date corporate records, including registers of directors, shareholders, and company secretaries, as well as minutes of board meetings and general meetings. Ensure secure storage and easy accessibility of these documents.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor changes in legislation and regulations relevant to corporate governance and compliance. Assist in ensuring that the company's practices remain compliant with current laws and standards.
  • Corporate Governance Support: Support the Corporate Secretary in advising the board on governance principles and compliance with corporate governance requirements. Assist in the review and implementation of corporate governance policies and practices.
  • Communication with Stakeholders: Assist in communicating with shareholders, directors, and relevant authorities, including the preparation and distribution of statutory notices, dividends, and other corporate communications.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Secretary, including scheduling appointments, organizing files, and handling correspondence related to corporate secretarial functions.
