Job Summary:
Structural Engineer is responsible for working on huge range of projects and is concerned with constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Analyze configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure to ensure they are accurate and feasible.
  • Supervise and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
  • Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
    Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
  • Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
  • Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
  • Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
  • Consider budget and purchase equipment/materials
  • Attend & Lead project review meetings to evaluate progress of on-going construction or maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with Project Manager to understand the implications of their design/construction of their project in relation to
  • Maintenance and on-going operation.
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
  • Report technically and financially regarding planning and overall progress of approved plans.
  • Evaluate the issues raised by the Jr. Engineers & provide solutions for the same
  • Provide the support and cooperation in regard to the Quality department requirements and Audits.
  • Provide the support and cooperation in regard to the Business development & tenders management activities when requested.
