Your Role and Responsibilities
What you'll do:
You will work in an innovation driven, collaborative environment to understand requirements, architect, design and implement trusted AI solutions.
You will manage developent, quality and stability of the features developed
You will develop proof of concepts to establish technical feasibilities
You will work with customers to help them succeed in their AI journey by adopting Watson Studio Trusted AI solutions.
You will manage the team's deliveries and team bonding
You will communicate clearly on issues and challenges if any
You will mentor junior members"
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Leadership of Teams (team lead, project manager): ~ 5-7 years
- Technical Skills
- Solid development experience in one of Python, Java or Scala.
- Experience with leading team of size around 10 people with varied skills like Developer, QA Engineer, Early Hires
- Experience of Agile and Scrum Methodolgy of developing in iterations.
- Good team motivator and strong relationship building skills
- Ability to collaborate and work independently when required.
- Strong sense of ownership of deliverables
- Coach and mentor junior team members
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in authoring SQL queries for micro services which interact with databases.
- Experience in authoring build scripts for packaging services as micro-services (Maven or Ant or Gradle)
- Experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools
- Experience working with different AI/ML frameworks to build ML models.
- Excellent debugging skills and familiarity with testing tools
- Experience in Critsit management
- Experience in Customer management
