Warehouse Operative and Driver

We are currently recruiting for 2 x Warehouse Operatives/ Drivers to join our team in Dublin.

PSV Glass & Glazing Ltd is an established market leader in its field within the Bus, Coach and Rail industries.

Salary:€31,050.00 pa, DIS Benefit

Hours of Work:Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 41.25 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
As a Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be required to safely load and unload a distribution van as applicable. You will be required to deliver glass to customers premises and sites as required. As a front-line representative of the company you will have to be professional and well presented at all times. In addition, you will also be required to:

• Undertake warehouse duties if no deliveries have been planned for you at any given time on any given day.
• Accurately locate, identify, pick and load parts onto vans as required
• Ensure you have all glass loaded safely onto works van and all relevant paperwork before setting off on a ‘run’
• Plan delivery efficiently
• Ensure all paperwork is completed as per procedure
• Ensure all vehicle safety checks are carried out as per procedure
• Undertake all training as required by the company
• Any other additional duties as assigned by the supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers and Directors as required

Experience:

• Knowledge or previous experience of multi-drop deliveries

Essential Criteria

-A full and valid driver’s license (Manual)

• Basic computer knowledge
• Good attention to detail particularly when processing paperwork
• Understanding of delivery logistics

• Forklift license
• Have a flexible approach to working & Be a good team player
• Good levels of reliability

A Full valid manual driving license with at least 3 years driving experience is required. Due to insurance reasons you will need to be over the age of 21 to be eligible for this role, no previous experience of glass installation or handling is required, however a methodical, practical and hands on approach is advantageous along with a positive attitude to work.
