Job description
What is required in this role?
You will be required to manage our storage warehouse of both construction materials, small plant/tools & equipment parts. Stock will have to be organized & reordered, all items will have to be signed out / allocated to each project & records maintained.
Some of your role will involve;
- Building stock catalog & organizing stock storage areas,
- Accepting deliveries and unloading of stock and material,
- ordering stock & parts required for our motor fleet,
- Organizing stock control and managing ordering as needed,
- ensuring stock and assets are efficiently stored and in a safe manner,
- Issuing materials, PPE and equipment to sites and engineers,
- maintaining minimum/maximum stock levels,
- raising and managing purchase orders,
- Managing stock inventory,
- Stock checks and controls,
- Maintaining warehouse upkeep and cleanliness,
- Manage stock requirements to be just in time deliveries,
- Engagement with suppliers,
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- Previous motor retail parts experience is a distinct advantage.
- Background in construction / hardware store would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised
- Great time management skills
- IT Skills have a good level of excel
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Clonminch, Tullamore, CO. Offaly: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- construction / hardware: 1 year (preferred)
- Automotive / machine parts (advantage)
