Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled Dredge Works Manager - Offshore for a leading client in the UAE. As a Dredge Works Manager - Offshore, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing offshore dredging projects from start to finish. Your role will involve planning and coordinating dredging operations, managing project budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and leading a team of professionals. Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute offshore dredging projects according to client requirements and industry standards
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and make adjustments as needed to ensure profitability
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of dredging equipment and materials
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations
- Review project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Prepare project reports, including progress updates, cost analysis, and risk assessments
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in offshore dredging technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in dredging operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of successfully managing offshore dredging projects
- Strong knowledge of dredging techniques, processes, and equipment
- Experience in coordinating and managing offshore operations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations applicable to offshore dredging
- Valid UAE driving license
