Eram Talent is currently hiring a Lead Procurement Expeditor to join our team in the UAE. The Lead Procurement Expeditor will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, expediting orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee procurement activities to meet project deadlines and requirements.
- Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to resolve any issues related to order fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure effective communication and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing any concerns or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement status and progress to management.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement expeditors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- At least 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven expertise in managing procurement processes, expediting orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Strong knowledge of project equipment, materials, fabrication processes, and quality control in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using relevant software programs, such as MS Office and procurement management systems.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong adherence to ethical and professional standards.
